Section of Agriculture Economics

Agricultural Economics is an applied field of Economics concerned with the application of economic theory in optimizing the production and distribution of food and fiber products.

Objectives :-

The major objectives of the Department of Agricultural Economics are to teach various courses related to economics and their role in agricultural systems. Also, it aims to graduate and inculcate students through understanding of the subject in learning of Agricultural Economics in order to meet the ever-increasing technical manpower demand in different sectors.
